SignalLayer is a professional discovery platform. People come here to signal how they operate and to find others worth a real conversation. These guidelines exist to keep that space clean, honest, and worth showing up to.
Be authentic
Represent yourself truthfully. Use a real name (or a recognizable professional one), a real photo, and accurate signals about your work. Impersonation, fake accounts, and misrepresentation are not allowed.
Be professional
Keep introductions and content conversational and constructive. Speak about your work, your strengths, and what you're moving toward — not about former employers, coworkers, clients, or competitors in a negative way. Critique ideas, not people.
Be respectful
The following are never welcome on SignalLayer:
- Harassment, threats, hateful conduct, or discrimination of any kind.
- Sexual, violent, or otherwise NSFW content.
- Doxxing or sharing someone's private information without consent.
- Spam, scams, MLM pitches, or aggressive solicitation.
- Promotion of illegal activity.
Keep it your work
Don't post content you don't own the rights to, and don't use SignalLayer to infringe anyone's intellectual property, brand, or likeness.
Reporting
If something doesn't belong here, use the report button on the introduction or profile, or email support@usesignalos.com. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Enforcement
Violations are handled under our Enforcement Policy, which describes warnings, suspensions, and removals — and how to appeal.
