This policy explains how we enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. We review reports in good faith and apply the lightest action that addresses the issue.
How issues are reviewed
Reports come from users (via the report button) and from automated signals (e.g., an introduction flagged by multiple distinct reporters). A SignalLayer moderator reviews the content, the context, and the account's history before any action is taken.
The action ladder
- Warning. A first or minor violation typically receives a warning. You'll see a message in your dashboard explaining what was flagged and what to fix.
- Content removal. Specific content that violates our guidelines (e.g., a Professional Introduction) may be hidden or removed. You'll be notified.
- Temporary suspension. Repeated or more serious violations may result in a temporary suspension. Your profile is hidden from the directory and public pages during the suspension period.
- Permanent removal. Severe violations — harassment, hateful conduct, illegal activity, fraud, repeated abuse — may result in permanent removal without a prior warning.
Immediate removal
We may act immediately, without a warning, when content or behavior poses a real risk to other users or to the platform — for example, threats, doxxing, sexual content, or coordinated abuse.
Appeals
If you believe an action was taken in error, email support@usesignalos.com from the address on your account. Include the date of the action and any context we should consider. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Refunds for suspended Pro accounts
Suspensions resulting from a violation of these policies are not eligible for refund. See our Refunds Policy for general terms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
